By combining a genetic algorithm with an agent-based system of cellular automata, this project investigates the potential to direct high-level behaviors of complex systems through the manipulation of low-level parameters. To evaluate the behavior of a system using only its end state, a variety of metrics are visualized directly in the model. It is attributes of these graphs which are used to measure the desirability of the configuration.
